Marina Etiquette

Our recycling bin is overflowing at times, which means we are using it and protecting our environment. Great job, tenants! On the other hand, we would like to ask that all tenants break down cardboard boxes or other items that take up empty space in the bin. Remember, you can recycle paper, glass, cans, and plastics, used oil and batteries.

Going Somewhere?

If you are planning on canceling your berth agreement with Grand Marina, please remember you must give 30 days advance written notice. We have a form in the office, or you may simply email, mail or fax us a memo. We also would like to know why you are leaving, whether it is to go cruising (yeah), you are getting out of boating (boo hoo), or you are moving to another marina (ouch).

If you are selling your boat, there is no guarantee that the new owner may keep the slip. Transfer of the berth is not automatic, and must be determined by the office.

We also want to remind you that if you are selling a current boat to buy a bigger one, make sure you give us plenty of advanced notice. Larger slips are at a premium, and it may take a while to find you a spot.

Give us a call if you plan to leave the marina or sell your boat, and we will be happy to explain our policy or give you the best advice on how to proceed.
